This blog has taken almost as much of a journey as I have. It has settled nicely into a land of body positivity, self love, encouragement and inspiration, queerness, genderqueerness, feminism, classy nudes, healthy choices of all kinds, and snippets of my personal life.
I am on a journey towards self love and body acceptance. I am going through a period of self-discovery involving my sexuality and gender orientation. I am queer, and wouldn't have it any other way.

This is so important! Negative energy has a lasting impact on your self esteem and your wellbeing. Even when you mess up, even when you do something wrong, it is SO important to treat yourself with kindness. Would you insult your best friend the way you insult yourself?

Cold outside air gives me asthma attacks
As a result, it took me 35 minutes to go 1.7 miles.
Sigh.
Damn my landlord for closing the gym when it was supposed to be open.
Ah well. At least I got some movement.
New plan.
Run on the treadmill for 20 minutes a day.
It seems like not very much, but I am just beginning to exercise again.
I feel like I need to start small in order to start forming this habit.
Soon I will up it to 30 minutes, then 40.

As an individual who deals with both insomnia and depression -
why the hell am I not exercising!?!?!!!!
I ran/walked for 1 hour on the treadmill today
My coworker invited me to run a 5k with her
I suggested one on November 5 that’s near our area
I have 5 weeks to train for a 5k
(that’s a lot of 5’s.. good thing this isn’t “Where the Heart Is”)
My body feels so achey and uncomfortable
And my head feels dizzy.
I need some “training for a 5k” tips
I want to integrate more intuitive movement and body positivity into my life :)

There are so many more of you lately! I feel so amazing knowing that I can make connections with you. Pleeeeasee feel free to flood my ask box :) I want to know more about you! I generally answer things privately, rather than posting them to my blog (unless you want me to, or you’re on anon, or you have good info to share!)
Things have been going pretty well lately. I feel better after I had a talked about my self control issues with my boyfriend. He’s helping me to stop bingeing so much, which I REALLY need. Now, all I need to do is work out more! I am still putting it off, mostly because my Achilles is still killing me (It’s Achill-ing me - get it? get it?) :D and because our apartment isn’t fully unpacked yet. Apartment cleaning counts as movement, right??
I’m very excited, because my Body Positive group starts back on September 8. I predict that my self-esteem is going to sky rocket! I miss my BPos ladies so much. Every Thursday evening, I get the pleasure of feeling safe and welcome and respected among women my age. Woah! How often does that happen??? :D
Alright well, I’m at work now.. just wanted to do a quick update since I’ve been mostly queuing stuff lately! I’ve slowed my queue down a bit, so I won’t be flooding your dashboards quite as much.
